Cryolipolysis

In preliminary studies it was noted that controlled cooling can lead to freezing of fat cells without affecting the surrounding tissues adversely. Popularly known as cool sculpting, Cryoliposis involves the non-invasive cooling of the adipose tissue which are later absorbed by the body and naturally eliminated from the body. This process is considered to have a longterm results as here the fat is permanently removed from the body. This method is efficiently performed in the hospital in 2 or more sittings to cure obesity, and restore body shape.

Research has proven that fat cell apoptosis can be achieved with exposure to cooling through energy extraction, causing natural and controlled fat cell death. Inflammatory mediators such as cytokines are released which causes steady elimination of the affected fat cells. The affected fat cells are digested by the inflammatory cells decreasing fat layers. Lipids emanating from the fat cells are eliminated from the body naturally by the lymphatic system.

Procedure

Cryoplipolysis induces selective apoptosis that is only affecting the fat cells achieving permanent reduction of fat deposits. A special conductor placed on the treatment area removes excessive unwanted fat and a vacuum that sucks the fat. The subcutaneous tissue is eliminated using fast-cooling methods. The temperature for cryolipolysis varies from +5 deg. C up to -5 deg. C. The treatment lasts no more than 1 – 2 hours and about 2 – 3 sittings may suffice.
