Where are the incisions placed?

To lift the breasts , it requires 3 incisions, one incision is made around the areola, and the other incision runs vertically from the bottom edge of the areola, to the crease underneath the breast. The third incision is horizontal beneath, the breast, and follows the natural curve of the breast crease.

After the surgeon has removed excess breast skin, the nipple and the areola, are then shifted to higher position. The areola, which is sagging the breast would have stretched, however this can be reduced in size. The skin which was formerly located above the areola, is bought down & together beneath it to reshape the beast. The nipples and the areola, remain attached to the underlying mounds of tissue, and then this usually allows for the preservation of the sensation and the ability to breast-feed. Usually the skin located above the the areola is brought down and then together beneath it to reshape the breast.
